Fly to Bangalore, but why? You might question as the city is not very popular as a tourist destination. Though the tourism industry is still in its infancy here, the city can be an excellent gateway for some well-known tourist destinations in India. These beautiful places are located within 300 km from Bangalore and it will hardly take more than 5 hours to reach any of these by car.
- Coorg: Located about 280 km south-west of Bangalore, Coorg is a beautiful city nestled in the Western Ghats of Karnataka. Also known as Kodagu, it fascinates tourists with its mesmerizing valleys, hills and acres of coffee plantation. Famous for its beautiful tea, coffee and cardamom plantation, it is visited all year round by tourists and vacationers from around the world. Fly to Bangalore and visit this enchanting place.
